Flutter Entertainment has underlined its intent to lead Italy’s new online gambling market by relaunching the online bingo offering of Sisal.
The relaunch of the Sisal Bingo Sala is led by Tombola, which has developed a localised platform that integrates with its existing Tombola Italia customer pool to offer instant liquidity for games—bringing significantly enhanced prize pots and real-time engagement to the Italian market.
As detailed to media: “Sisal’s bingo customers now get to enjoy Tombola’s proprietary bingo product as an integrated feature on their app and website.”
Flutter marks the launch as a flagship moment in executing its “Flutter Edge” strategy—a framework that capitalises on cross-brand synergies in product development, technology, and scale. Tombola, acquired in 2022, is Europe’s largest online bingo operator and a leading provider of soft real money games.
Games remain Sisal-branded to preserve local identity but are powered by Tombola’s proprietary product suite, which is now fully embedded within Sisal’s mobile and desktop platforms.
The launch coincides with a significant regulatory shift in Italy. In 2025, the Italian government relaunched its online gambling market under a new €7 million licensing regime. The market restructuring has seen 46 operators commit to acquiring licences for their respective brands—including international groups such as Entain, LeoVegas, and Betsson.
Against this backdrop, Flutter has declared its ambition to become Italy’s outright market leader, operating a portfolio that includes Betfair, Tombola, and Sky Bet Italia, in combination with its acquired national champions Sisal and Snaitech (SNAI), across both online and retail channels.
Under the Flutter Edge programme, the technology platforms of Sisal and SNAI continue to be upgraded and customised enhancing UX, price competitiveness, and new cost controls across sports betting and online casino segments.

The first phase of the integration introduces Super Bingo, a new 75-ball format exclusive to Italy, offering full house prizes significantly larger than anything previously available on the market. By merging the player liquidity of Tombola Italia and Sisal, customers now benefit from bigger jackpots and a more dynamic bingo experience.
