Czech Republic.- The esports betting solutions provider Oddin.gg has appointed seasoned gaming figure Martin Lycka as its new Vice President of Institutional Affairs. The appointment adds significant regulatory and industry experience to Oddin.gg’s leadership team.
Lycka spent five years at Entain, serving as Senior Vice President for American Regulatory Affairs and Responsible Gambling. Based on the East Coast of the United States, he will oversee licensing, regulatory relations, and responsible gaming initiatives. Oddin.gg holds licences in New Jersey, Colorado, West Virginia, Ohio, and Arizona, as well as in Ontario, Canada.
The company is pursuing additional approvals to broaden its footprint in regulated jurisdictions.
“Esports betting has experienced significant development within fully regulated environments,” Lycka said. “This has been the outcome of proactive engagement, education, transparency, and open dialogue with regulators. Oddin.gg, as an industry pioneer, has built its approach around those principles, and I’m looking forward to supporting the company as it scales across many more global markets.”

Marek Suchar, co-founder and Managing Director of Oddin.gg, said: “As esports betting continues to scale, institutional credibility becomes just as important as product quality.
“Martin brings deep regulatory experience and a practical understanding of what regulators seek to become comfortable with innovative betting products. His appointment strengthens our ability to engage constructively with regulators, addressing integrity, governance, and technological concerns, and to support partners operating in complex regulatory environments.”
Founded in the Czech Republic, Oddin.gg has built a presence across Europe, North America, and South America, with Latin America emerging as a key focus of its expansion strategy.
