The Kentucky Senate has approved House Bill 904.
US.- The Kentucky Senate has approved House Bill 904, which proposes changes to the state’s gambling framework. The initiative would raise the minimum age for sports betting from 18 to 21 and ban prop bets related to college athletes.
The proposal would legalise fantasy sports wagering, which would be regulated under the Kentucky Horse Racing and Gaming Corporation. The bill restricts some types of proposition bets involving college athletes, and proposes that sportsbook operators cannot operate prediction markets in the state.
The House passed the legislation in March. It now heads to Governor Andy Beshear’s desk.
