US.- The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has reported that combined revenue from all forms of gaming in September was $535.8m. That’s an increase of 5.92 per cent year-over-year.
Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course led the market with $101.6m in revenue, up 23 per cent year-on-year. Valley Forge Casino Resort took $93.4m, up 9 per cent, and Rivers Casino Philadelphia $53.1m, up 4 per cent.
According to the PGCB, retail slot revenue totalled $194m, down 1.5 per cent. The number of slot machines in operation was 24,331 compared to 24,558 in the same period in 2024. Retail table game revenue reported $73.4m, down 0.06 per cent. Slots machines generated $96.6m in tax revenue and table games $12.3m.
Online gaming generated monthly revenue of $233.3m, an increase of 32.08 per cent. Tax revenue totalled $106.1m.
The PGCB will hold a public hearing on October 30 on the renewal of the Category 4 Slot Machine Operator Licence for Mountainview Thoroughbred Racing Association, operator of Hollywood Casino York. The hearing will be held at the Springettsbury Twp. Municipal Building.
Citizens, public officials and community groups can register to speak or submit written testimony by October 28. Those who register to speak will be posted on the board’s website.
