The three Virginia casinos reported $84.7m in revenue.
US.- The Virginia Lottery has released July’s report on casino gaming activity at Hard Rock Bristol, Rivers Casino Portsmouth, and Caesars Virginia. Gaming revenues totalled $84.7m, up 42.8 per cent year-over-year. Slots generated $62m and table games $22.7m.
Caesars Virginia reported $35m in adjusted gross gaming revenue (AGR), with $24.6m from slot machines and $10.5m from table games. Rivers Casino Portsmouth’s AGR was $26.8m, with $18.8m from slots and $7.9m from table games, and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol posted $23m in AGR, $18.7m from slot machines and $4.2m from table games.
The state collected $16.6m in taxes. Statute specifies distributions to the Problem Gambling Treatment and Support Fund, the Family and Children’s Trust Fund, and the host city. For the Bristol casino, statute specifies the portion of taxes reserved for the host city go to the Regional Improvement Commission (RIC).
The Virginia Lottery recently reported $901m in profits for the 2025 fiscal year. That’s the second-highest total in its 37-year history. Sales reached a record of $5.7bn for the year ending June 30, and $4.5bn was returned to players as prizes. Under the state law, all Lottery profits go to support K-12 public education.
